Shipping policy

Shipping from Denmark and the USA

Orders are shipped from our warehouse in Sorø, Denmark. Selected products are also stocked in Salt Lake City, USA, and ship from there to customers in the USA and Canada.

Processing time

Orders are packed and handed to the carrier within 1–2 business days (Monday–Friday, excluding Danish public holidays). You receive an email with tracking as soon as your order ships.

Expected delivery times (after dispatch)

Delivery times are estimates, not guaranteed.

Denmark and Europe: expected 1–3 business days with FedEx
Rest of the world: expected 2–5 business days with FedEx International
USA (from Salt Lake City): free Standard shipping, expected 3–4 business days. Faster FedEx options are shown at checkout.
Large boxes and pallets ship with FedEx Freight; delivery time depends on destination and is shown at checkout or confirmed by email.

Shipping costs

Shipping is calculated at checkout from the weight, size and destination of your order, using live FedEx rates. You see the exact price before you pay. If your order contains both a large box and smaller items, it may be delivered in more than one shipment at no extra charge beyond the price shown at checkout.

Duties and import taxes

EU: no customs duties. Prices include Danish VAT where applicable.
UK, Switzerland, Norway and the rest of the world: for many countries, duties and import taxes are calculated and paid at checkout, so there are no surprise fees on delivery. Where this is not possible, duties and taxes are charged by the carrier on delivery and are the customer's responsibility.

Where we ship

We ship worldwide with FedEx. If no shipping option appears at checkout for your address, contact us at info@alubox.com and we will find a solution.

Damaged or lost shipments

Please check your order on delivery. If the box is damaged or anything is missing, note it with the driver if possible and contact us within 7 days with photos at info@alubox.com. We will handle the claim with FedEx and send a replacement or refund.
