Refund policy

30-day returns — even if used

You can return a standard Alubox box within 30 days of receiving it, even if it has been used, and receive a full refund with no deduction. Normal wear and scratches from ordinary use are fine. The product must be complete and must not have been modified (for example, no drilled holes). Proof of purchase is required.

Returns to our US warehouse (orders shipped from Salt Lake City, USA) must be in the original packaging. Returns to Denmark (orders shipped from Sorø) do not require the original packaging.

How to return

Email info@alubox.com (or call +45 57 60 10 02) with your order number before sending anything back. Returns sent without contacting us first cannot be accepted.
We confirm your return and send instructions.
Pack the product securely and send it to the address we confirm:
- Returns to Denmark (orders shipped from Sorø): Alubox, Nyrupvej 47, 4180 Sorø, Denmark.
- Returns to the USA (orders shipped from Salt Lake City): Alubox, 1005 Bending River Road, Suite A, Salt Lake City, UT 84104, USA (original packaging required).

Return shipping

The customer pays for return shipping. You can choose either option:

Ship the return yourself with a carrier of your choice (we recommend a tracked service), or
Ask us to send you a prepaid return label; its cost is deducted from your refund.

Damaged, defective or wrong items

If your order arrives damaged, defective or is not what you ordered, contact us right away. In these cases Alubox covers return shipping and sends a replacement or full refund.

EU right of withdrawal (14 days)

Customers in the EU may cancel their order within 14 days of receipt without giving a reason. This right applies in addition to our 30-day return policy and also covers sale items. Return shipping is paid by the customer.

Items that cannot be returned

Returns apply to standard boxes only. The following cannot be returned:

Special orders and custom-made products
Products that have been modified (for example, drilled holes)
Sale or discounted items (EU consumers' 14-day right of withdrawal still applies, see above)
Gift cards

Return the item for a refund and place a new order for the product you want.

Refunds

When we have received and checked your return, we email you to confirm. Approved refunds are paid to your original payment method within 10 business days. Your bank may take a few extra days. If you have not received your refund 15 business days after approval, contact info@alubox.com.
